i was trying to figure out what to call my setup here in sunny florida, i tossed around the idea of DIY reef, RENOVATED reef or HAND ME DOWN reef, so GOODWILL reef sounded better. for those that know me know i moved to florida almost 2 years ago, after having bought a new tank( that came poofly assembled--and ultimately returned) i had hoped to order another tank, but the wifey and children always had other agendas with my money, seeing how cost of living is higher here with less wages then back home. so instead i started amassing different pieces to put together my tank. NO equipment used was bought new, the only thing new in my tank is a select few corals. 75% of my rock came with me from memphis as did chemicals and additives. i figured that if i can be somewhat pleased with used stuff until finances got better, then that's ok with me---on with the pics
