My green carpet is sick

I came home today and found him looking like this. I just got him 2 weeks ago and he has never looked this bad. Some days he is opened up all the way and sometimes he is really small and almost all the way under the rock. I have tried to feed him but he hasnt taken any food yet. This is my second carpet, I had a blue haddoni for about 18 months and gave him up because he got to big and ate two of my fish.It is a 180 with a very small bio load, I only have 5 fish in the tank. I want to help him, what can I do?

Tracy,
Sucks about the carpet not doing well. Are all your water parameters solid? Has anything changed recently?
Also was the nem eating OK at the LFS?

I am goin thru same issue with a Rose Bubble. Not sure if this is the beginning to the end or just getting adjusted.

Everything in the tank is solid. Ca is 425
Kh is 10.4
Mg is 1400
No nitrates/nitrites
Everthing is at zero. I only have the the 5 fish in the tank, the bio-load is nothing. When I put him in the tank he looked good and dug in the sand and planted his foot, then he started looking like the picture I took
