I have this anemone for around 2 months.

How do i know if it doing well, is the colour consider bleached?

I not really know cam i doing the right stuff in taking care of the anemone.

Been feeding it with market prawn very 3 days. throw in some power cyclopeeze into the water flow, but not sure if the anemone will take it.

[welcome]

Is its mouth tightly closed? --- closed is a good sign
Does it inflate/deflate often? --- a bad sign.

What size tank? How much flow? What do you have for lights?

mouth is closed, sometime will procude out like a nipple. why ?

so far never see the carpet inflate/deflate. all along at the same spot where i put in there.

Now trying to max out the size of the anemone. need ur advise.

Light = 2 tube of t5 ati light.
Tank size = 4ftx2ftx2ft
Flow should be direct Koralia 4 creating the water flow for the carpet. another Koralia 4 in at other direction.

You will be needing more light and flow pretty soon, but ramp it up ( the light ) slowly
I have mine 14 inches deep under 400 watt metal halides (reeflux 12k) with lumen max reflectors and a coralvue ballast. Two vortechs for flow.
You have done really well to get to this stage but to go long haul the improvements have to be made imo.

I also try to keep my mag high 14-1500 and my alk low 7-8 calc at nsw levels.
check my gallery for mine, well done.
