Can you honestly say you've seen improvements since using the Prodibio?
Also, do you have a DSB?
Here in the US, we've been bitten by so many snake oils over the past 15 years in this hobby, we're very skeptical about new fangled products.
I sure can - I was struggling to get NO3 to 0 before prodibio (PO4 was covered by rowaphos) and the readings are solidly 0 now even after I took off the super agressive deltec skimmer to see what would happen to the zoo plancton.
The effect of 0 NO3 was much better colouration in the sps, further boosted in colour and growth by Zeo CV and PIF.
My tank runs BB - but I have a MIneral Mud/aragonite MSB in the refugium section of the sump with chateo.
The UK has also been bitten by snake oils , usually after the US has sneezed

on them hehe. I'v tried all sorts of approaches (Minireef systematised, Tunze complete works, Miracle Mud only)- and am very please with this. The probiotic approach isnt new - just relatively new to reef keeping. This is my 4th marine tank - and its a joy - I'm even starting to relax a little with this approach - rather than worring about RTN STN etc, I cant wait to get a new coral and see it develop.
Early days for me of course - but Iwan's is a real inspiration - which I'm happy to emulate.
UK reefers generally look to the states for the latest developments because of the language - but the major significant and robust developments seem to be in continental europe - which is harder to engage with as they dont run thier forums in english. :furious:
IMO - at the end of the day - there is nothing lost in trying - and the possibility of benefits.
