What method do you use for your phosphate control?

Hi Steve

with bacteria and bactofood in combination with the DSB, phosphate is not a problem. Sometimes I use rowaphos (If the phosphate is higher then 0.02mg/l)

Never heard of those. Is it the same stuff used in zeo?

Zeo also use bacs and food (in combination with zeoliths and the zeoloith filter)

The bacs wich i'm using probably have same specifications (denitrification + nitrification)

I'm using as filter media:

LR
and DSB

Now i have independent reflectors for the 54 Watt bulbs and one single reflector for the 80 Watt bulbs.
With the new light-system i'll also have single reflectors for 8x80 Watt bulbs (i hope, that I recieve the new ATI power module in the next few days)

I need to make the time to read that site. I was raised in Switzerland when I was a kid and know German, but it has been a while since I've had to use it. And technical German is must harder for me than the conversational kind I used.

Beautiful tank...very inspiring to see you are only using T5 bulbs.

How long is your photoperiod? Do you run the blue+ bulbs a little longer than your aquablues?
