My JBJ Viper just broke!

I've had the JBJ Viper 150w for about 8 months now, and it has always sucked. Even after getting a replacement knob, the head keeps drooping about once a week and I have to tighten it again. Well today I noticed it was low again so I hand tightened it as much as I could and the plastic it screws into snapped off!!! Now there is nothing supporting the head so I have no light. I contacted JBJ but I don't expect to hear back from them until at least monday. Just venting, sorry.

that sucks man, i have a 70w on my nano tank and im a little disapointed about the crappy constuction and use of plastic. you can't rig something up just for the time being until this gets resolved???

Maybe you have a lemon one. I've had mine for only maybe a month and I think they are built like a tank. I've adjust it some many times and never moved at all. I just think you have a lemon(bad) to start out. Thank God I've got mine at a local store.
