This is a tank that i put together and designed just recently. I know that its not anything that special but I think that its well thought out and has a decent design.

10 gallon AGA
(you know what they look like)

False wall in the back that doesn't go all the way across with a 3 chamber sump/ refugium.

Surface skimmer/overflow drains into fuge that has 1lb of live rock rubble and 1/4lb crushed coral. Water flows under first baffle and up through the heater chamber then over the second baffle into the pump chamber. (should i put some filter floss over the top of the pump?) The water is pumped back into the display by way of a J tube with a diffuser at the end. 1 additional powerhead is in the corner of the tank to provide some more circulation.

Lights are from 52watts of 6500k CF Run of the mill lights.

Any and all comment are more then welcome.

This whole tank started out as a school project for one of my entrepreneur classes which is a whole other story. Now I think that I am hooked.

I just saw a white worm like think crawling up the side of the tank it was a little less then 1/2" long and 1/16" wide probably even less any ideas what this is?

Awesome job. I am wanting to do the exact same thing for a setup I'm starting.

Is that just regular black acrylic? What type of silicon gel?

Keep the pictures coming.

the acrylic is regular clear with krylon fusion applied to the sump side. Silicon was GE1 if i remember right.

Still wondering what these little worms are inthe the tank

not a bad idea but looks like that false wall can only handle about a gallon or so.. not very good fro vacations and such.
