Ok so far my proposed list for my future reef tank is

2 chromis ( will stat with them, may or may not keep)
pair Osc clowns
any blenny
Foxface Lo
and later on a spotted mandarin

Should everyone get along later??

And would it be possible if a few months down the road a larger fish to be added, like a flame angel or coral beauty?

This is in a 55 gallon also. Keep in mind I may not keep the chomis, they will already have a tank they can be transfered to.

First advice, don't add any fish that your not sure that you want. If you don't want them, don't get them. Once their in the tank, nearly impossible to get out without tearing everything apart.

IMO the foxface will get to big for your tank. Are you dead set on it?

Angels are hit-or-miss on whether they mess with corals, do you want to keep corals?

Do you have a refugium?

I do want coral, And I know about the size issue, but I also know in a year ill have a much bigger tank going.
As for keeping what fish I get, theres not really any hardy fish to start with for cheap that I want. I can deal with tearing apart my rockwork, since its really simple and not a ton.
I do have a refugium, but not usable with this tank, so in the next 2-3 months, im buying a hangon refugium for this tank and calling it a day.

At times you can find clownfish for cheap, depends on the store. Other then that, maybe try a blenny or goby. Usually on the lower end of the price spectrum and all of these are fairly hardy. If you find a goby/blenny that you like, just research it a little. Some are more difficult then others. Nothing wrong with chromis, just I've had problems in the past when I've gotten things that I didn't really want.

Try to find a mandarin that eats prepared food in the store. Other then that, the foxface will appreciate a larger tank. Just make sure you start with a small one.
