awww

Awhile back I was going to throw in the towel so to speak. I gave up on my tanks and was selling it all, untill one day I was sitting infront of my tank with my lil girl in my lap who was 6 months old then. She was really squirming in my lap trying to see something. So I looked to see what she was doing and she had her hand on the tnak and one of my clowns was right there at her hand. She loved the tank, that was the first time she really saw it. I knew then I couldnt part with them. Now she has one of her own in her room, and the moonlights make a great night light, lol.

Yea, she even helps with the feeding, water changes and cleaning....She insists on it. And she is only 22 months.

Couple of more pictures....just messing aroudn with some camera settings...

That's awesome! I'll have to remember this when my wife and I have kids and I want just one more tank... now I know exactly where it can go and why it needs to go in our kids room! Because they're afraid of the dark! :D

HaHaHa.... It just so happen to have went in there right after her night light went out, lol. I suggested doing a tank in there with moonlights instead of replacing the night light because the LEDs last a super long time, hahaha.

robert, thats the best fish of all...... i cant wait until the day comes for me and lauren. hopefully that days comes just a few more years down the road though :) <~~~steve

the moon lights are pretty cool at night when the lights are out, if you have a open top tank like I do. The ripple from the water shines right on the wall behind the tank, I mean, that whole area around the tank. My neighbor actually asked me one day about the blue glow from the one window and the red glow from the otherwindow at night. The red is from my snake cages, their heat lamps I run at night.
