How funny a couple months ago I sold my neon green gig locally in socal and NO ONE wanted it for weeks. I had to keep dropping the price. It was huge over 12 inches

I think for us folks here in CA, we're a bit spoiled. I see green ones often enough that I wouldn't spend more than $150 on one. Prices vary A LOT, anywhere from $100-$400.

Furthermore, though there is a demand for them within the hobby as a whole, it's a niche market. I think those of us who like carpet anemones in our reef tanks are the minority. Most SPS snobs wouldn't dare waste so much real estate! Especially if it could sting their precious Walt Disney acro!
