For reasons I can't explain I woke up to every acro in my tank dead.went to bed with things fine and woke up to a sea of white dead sticks.all of my LPS are alive but not happy and opened fully.I would like to sell them so they don't die.I have some really nice acans that I am selling for $15-40 depending on color and size.a few are really nice rainbow acans,most are at least 6 heads and some are mini colonies.I'm even selling my cherry corals orange rainbows I got at MACNA this year.I'm at work now so can't post pics but I'm sure most if you have seen them before whether In person or in pics.the plate coral is about 3" diameter and vivid orange with a purple mouth and purple tips($30).pm me for my address and to setup a time to come look or buy.I know I have at least 10 acans and some you can't get locally.so as the title states,my loss is your gain.i plan on just shutting the system down and restarting when I get my reef savvy at the end of this month.

I forgo to mention I also have a few fish that need homes.I have a pair of blue striped pipe fish for $40.these fish have been in a high flow sps reef for months without any problems and eat cyclopeze and baby mysis.I also have a tiny hippo tang(approx 1.5" long)$10,he eats like a pig and has been in my system for almost a year now with no signs of ich or any other health issues.these fish will have to go after the corals so I can remove the rock and catch them.

It really pains me to do this Wes but I think its in the corals best interest to sell them so they don't die.I lost some large colonies and a lot of high end frags,icefire enchinata,tubs pink jade,tyree this and that,etc.it blows but I don't know what to do at this point except shut it down and start fresh in a month or so.

Sorry to hear that !! Hate to loss the coral because they are $$, time collecting, and lot of effort of taking care of them (.

Idk if you know Emmett or not !! but you can come and get frag from him for really cheap, and he has a lot SPS varieties and high end to choose from.

It happened to me and my friend just a 2 weeks ago !! We mixed water at home. We was guessing that it could be the water system in Pinellas county.

I know Emmit very well and most of my high end sticks came from him so I know I can get them again.I'm not going to lay out any more money on corals until my new system is up and running.I just don't want these nice acans to die off when they could have been easily saved in others systems.I will post pics of them when I get home but if you do a search of threads I have started you will find a lot of pics of my acans.

Also please don't pm me asking to ship anything.if the coral is stressed,shipping them would most likely just be a death sentence and a waist of your money and my time packing them.moving them locally will offer the corals the highest probability of long term survival.

The hippo has two people in line for him.I do have the two blue stripe pipefish available if you want them.I will have to remove the rocks to catch them so the corals need to go first.I don't have too much to sell so I'd imagine the fish could be caught later this week at worst case.

I feel your pain, I had an a/c outage related heatwave that wiped out a number of corals in my reef. Good luck with the sale, you have a lot of great stuff.

I just can't figure out what happened to wipe out all acros except one frag of a tricolor.come get these scans guys and gals,you won't be disappointed in colors or prices.I have purple/greens,pink/reds,3-4 different rainbows,some really different maroon jap acans,etc.some purchased locally and others from online vendors.the orange rainbows are truly nice acans that I paid $40/pp for at macna.
