The LED's are just for extra coloration it makes the corals really pop. I have plenty of other actinics and halides.

do you mind detailing the rest of your lighting? what do these same shots look like with all lighting on?

I have 3 x 250w 10k Aqualine, 2 6ft VHO's, 2 96w and 2 65w 420nm PC's. Next week I will be upgrading to 400w halides so I will be taking more shots as soon as they arrive.

Wow, amazing! Do you have a seperate LED fixture or is it part of the overall fixture? Also how many LEDs?

The fixture is just some Current USA LED strips strapped to a board. I have 9 of them totaling 36 1 watt LED's.

Hey guys he isn't showing the whole tank I saw this first back in Nov.in person.With those lights it's jaw dropping,what those lights did to his tank.
His corals look like flourscent paint,that has a black light on them.

It's true......the pictures are great......but in person it's truly amazing! Especially when you close the doors and cut the lights out!

How many blue LEDS are up there now? like 36?

I'm trying but it's not easy since is SO blue

to be honest.......with the LEDs, only the corals pop....there isn't that blue radiated light.......all the rocks and everything go dark and the colors JUMP right at you.
