Yea they are pretty hard to get right from what I hear. In my tank, I think they survive by distraction and tiredness. The tank is 7 feet long, with 3 pillars, each covered with holes and shelves. I firmly believe 2 dozen chromis could easily disappear in my tank if they felt threatened. And they don't get much time to fight anyway, because my goldrim tang likes to chase the closest few whenever he gets bored, lol. So between running, dodging, and hiding, there's hardly any times where they actually have to fight. :)

Mine have done this before too. I have found that it seems to irritate the original mag when the interloper arrives. Perhaps it's a desire to be in a community, but I had interpreted it more as a "hostile take-over", since it leads to the established anemone shifting around and sometimes moving.

Well the original mag was the interloper last time around, so maybe he knows a trick or two! They seem to be at a standstill, the green one still causing the red one to lean out for his light. And there's still some rock left to share before someone has to go. So I'm hopeful at the moment.

Good looking nems. Im hoping to spot a nice one to start off my 28 nano with, maybe at the frag swap. When he gets big enough I can always move him to the 120.

Hey are you gonna be there at the start? I'm going to show up late because of church, but I'd love it if you could take some pics if you see any really exeptional nems. I always hear about what I missed when I show up, lol.

As for a mag in a 28g, you've got more nerve than me, and as for it getting big, I've yet to see a small one in St. Louis!
