My Miami chalice id?

I'm almost 100% sure that isn't a My Miami. It's way too purple and looks like a watermelon chalice, It should be a really deep blue with a much thicker green rim too.

I've seen pictures of a My Miami, but looks like people are using heavy actinics to make the eyes bright orange. I'm used to seeing the base blue, but I figure that chalices are very sensitive and has the tendancy of changing colors.

I know my Kryptonite chalice used to have pink highlights and a thick green rim. Now, the chalice has lost its pink highlights and green rim.

i'm curious where you saw this selling of these frags... cuz they are definitely not my miami's, and if someone is labeling them as such, and trying to sell as a my miami, then it should be brought to attention to avoid anyone getting ripped off... jmo

if its jus a matter of false id on the potential buyers side, and they arent given with a name, then that is completely excusable... either way, the OP is doin the right thing by asking first...

Guess I disagree with everyone. A My Miami Chalice has a orange eye center with a reddish rim around the eye followed by a blueish/purplish "body" and a green rim. I must be colorblind then because those pictures that are linked have that exact same color profile.

Just because it doesn't have the EXACT same color tone as the pictures you see online doesn't mean it isn't in fact a My Miami Chalice. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of different lighting profiles out there which means that just because a coral has a certain color tone in one system doesn't mean it will show the same color tone in another. Take into account different camera's and photoshop work and there you have it. Give me 30 minutes in photoshop and I bet I can make it looks just like WWC has it.

Edit:
I went in on a group buy for chalices about 6 months ago, here is the My Miami we got on the group buy...looks pretty close to me, difference in light IMO

Thank you everyone for your responses. It really gives me a better insight as to what to do.

DJKMS,

Thanks for your detailed input. I never really considered the red around the eyes.
