Any feedback and suggestions are welcomed.

That looks real nice. Focus on your Alk and pH by using Alk/Calc additive. Try to expand to a below tank sump with skimmer. If thats not possible then do a hob skimmer. grow macro in the sump. Just a few ideas to keep things going in the right direction.

Hi guys thanks for the replies. actually i haven't started dosing alk yet. Only calcium for now. i am growing macro on my back hangon. they are growing real fast and real good. i thought about a hang-on skimmer actually any suggestions?

yup i guess thats the one imma go with. I've been getting alot of good feedback with that skimmer. and its a good low price too. Thank you Coralife...haha..

I have a system almost exactly the same.. 55gallon.. set up 2 months now.. the only thing is I have 55lbs of rock and there is hardly any room like in yours? did you just get really heavy rock?

hey sweetp can i see a picture of your tank too? Actually what i did is i picked up alot of smaller pieces LR. i picked them all out myself. i like smaller pieces so there is some rocks i'm sitting the big ones on that you can't really see. i'm not sure about the heavy rocks but my tank is 48" long. and yeah i do have alot of room. haha.. but in a way i want it to be more filled up. i'm not satisfied yet. i want it filled up totally. haha

We hand picked our rock too.. it was expensive though...
