In case anyone is interested in seeing some photos of the exterior and dimensions:

The squares are 1cm squares.

LOL

The pump itself came with a 2 prong plug, the Korjo you see is a converter plug. However, it is sized so that it will go into a hole in the socket and thus creating a seal. Like the Europea style plugs.

Glad you guys like the photos, I hope someone find them useful.

My first 6025 also had the "running backwards" issue, but after running it for 24h, it was fine. It was a bit chatty, but after cleaning it, it's silent.

they are great pics, but whats a centimeter???....lol..I have to get out my converter...;)

what is the running backwards? the motor actually runs backwards?

Cool pics Louis .. One question
In the first pic, there is a gap between the front and back piece. Is that the design or it wasn't fully snap in??

no they dont run backwards but they do spin backwards for a second on startup untill the internals get synched up

Nope, not a design flow, more of an user installation fault :D I should've snapped in before doing the photo shoot.

not sure, but the koralia look pretty sweet.....for a lot less money

KORALIA 1 1500 l/h 4,5 W 400 gph 3,5 W
KORALIA 2 2300 l/h 4,5 W 600 gph 4,5 W
KORALIA 3 3200 l/h 5,5 W 850 gph 6,5 W
KORALIA 4 4600 l/h 11 W 1200 gph 8,5 W

ahhh get that pic out of this forum
jk
i dont think they will be as good since they are so long looks like they will stick way out into the tank also there is no Rodger Vitko at hydor to take care of you when they break

Bought a 6045 today and now Im looking for another. Very nice unit. Nicest unit Ive used. Only comment I would suggest is more flow maybe 1500gph. I know theres a 55 coming out but not everyone needs or wants controlable units esp. for the price increase. Overall the 45 is absolutely great from design to function.

I have 2 of them running for almost a month
in a 150 4ft long one at each end of the tank they are very quiet

the flow meets in the middle of the tank nice water movement
great pump for the price with little too no heat

highly recommended you just cant beat the quality from a brand name
and the service that Roger supplies and to us ONE and ALL
you do not get that from too many MFG out there
they back up there products

AND have been around for a long time
so you can depend on them for parts being there in the future
unlike other flashes that come and go

also have 2 2002 powerheads love them

TUNZE
:D

Competitors, imitators... Its good to see someone else making pumps like this. More suppliers tends to push the market.

I see these as an evolution in internal aquarium pumps with the potential to almost completely replace the traditional powerhead.

And lowers the prices. ;) The Nanostreams are the first Tunzes I've been able to afford. :D

And lowers the price

Indeed. I think the nanostreams could be a real mass market product for Tunze.

Steve, how did you get the quiet one? Mine still rattles. Its at 6 weeks now and due for a cleaning so maybe that will quiet mine down a little.

Hi all,
Can these nano streams be connected to a wave controller? I think I a going to get a couple of these for my 75 gallon, they are really nice and compact plus put out some good flow!!!

Redsea wavemaster pro, maybe?
