BTW i have a 14k hammy one one side and a Giesmann MegaChrome on the other. one hammy blew so im waiting on a new pair of pheonix 14k

Ray, Tank is looking real good, I will say better than the bigger tank, I think I know what is your large wrasse, I think it is a Thalassoma hardwicke, check it and let me know

really nice, i love the aquascaping nice fish selection, nice corals. i love it. I guest the rocks came from another tank how is the cycling going? I plan to move my rocks from a 16 and 10g into a 90g soon, i have some concerns about the mini or big mini cycle that is going to happen to me.

I moved and put everything in same day with no problem, no mini cycle or anything. This sunday the tank will be 3 weeks and i have 23 fish at last count with no issues i do dose sugar which helps keep everything in check since i do feed daily mysis for the anthias.

Rogger- Its a Hemigymnus fasciatus common name Barred Thicklip wrasse. you can see him here http://www.reefimages.com/Wrasses/Wrasses5.htm
and he looks like this as an adult:

IntermediateBarredThicklipWrasse.jpg

Almost the same so he is pretty much as adult coloration.

wow. 3 weeks has me scared, but if you've got it under control, more power to you... You've also got the equipment list to keep it under control which helps as well. Looks great! I can't wait to see it grown in.

i just keep an eye on the params and on the corals. The sps let you know when things are going down hill.

And no algea on the rocks or sump also, once that starts then i know im at the limit.

Ray, the tank looks great, especially for it being three weeks. The fish look very healthy. Love the pair of watannabes!

RAY VERY VERY NICE BUDDY!

Great tank, just saw it in person Tuesday and like always it looks better than in the pictures. Great rockwork, corals and fish selection, just picture it with another year of coral growth.

Ray, did you get the Sarmentosa we talked about?

I will give you a call or see you at the store, you tank looks awesome. I hooked up the new light and getting the tank acclimated to more light but I think there is something wrong with my XM 250 14K because next to the 6 month old Giesmann it looks really dim.

Yeah I put in the Megachrome in to replace the blown hammy after you left that day and I got the same result. The hammy side looks dim while the Giesman side looks very very intense.

After posting on the sps forum about what is the best intense/blue bulb with the best par I am switching to the 14k phoenix bulbs. Most said that it’s a white/blue but very intense light compared to other 14k bulbs with only slightly lower par on regular ballast. On my HQI I should get very close to 10k par.

Ray the tank looks awesome, looks even better in person. It must be the endless amount of drygoods you add to the tank. And the copperband eats mysis out of your hand? wow where did you find such a stunning tankmate? Just joking....In all honesty you've done a great job with your set-up.
