Only thing that worries me is the mag pump outside of the sump-- I would put it in the last chamber of the sump and cap off the bulk head. Just my 2 cents. Brad

Ok this am, Went to lowes, Drilled the sump, fixed the plumbing on the back of the 40, and started making salt water.

Ok the RS 180 been running for almost 2 weeks and its pulling some nasty poop....BUT the pump is really loud...More of a hummmmm. This is what Reef Dynamics recommends, http://www.reefdynamics.com/Protein...P-14-16LPM-C-p/p-e1260sp-14-16lpm-c.htm...But I cant see paying that much for that pump...I rather buy this REEF OCTOPUS Diablo Controllable DC 5500S Variable Speed Skimmer Pump 634 GPH instead...Any input?????
