ok i'm not very good at picture taking.. But I here's some pics of my new 120 I got in oct and took me this long to build the stand upgrade the lights ec. I just transfered everything from my 55 about 1 wek ago and the water still is clearing up.

this powder blue has been in my tank 1 week now , he was skinny when I got him but he finally started eating and he looks like he is going to do well.

got this blue ring squamie from Julio 8 months or so ago and has grown and doing good.
and the crocea from PW last year.

this RBTA is much more red in pperson , Got him 2 yrs aro from Chris (CB747) she split 4 times already in the 55g and when I put her in this tank she split again. now I got to figure out how I gonna get that little sucker out of the rock.

This is the Green "Tyree" toadstool I got from Konrad when I started. at that time it was a little bigger then a nickel it is now over 6" and waiting to be fraged..

We must have gotten our blue ring squamie from Julio at the same time. I can't believe it's been eight months already!

How about some full tank shots so that we can see all that hard work you put into the stand & canopy.
 
seen this in person...lets just say its hard not to just stare at the tank all day!

Chuck - if I remember correctly, your 120 is an AGA Megaflow. I think you posted some pics a while back of the basement plumbing. I'm going to be setting up a 125 megaflow with a sump in the basement and was wondering if you wouldn't mind posting the pics again if you still had them. I'm trying to make sense of the whole plumbing thing and keep getting a headache!

I did the same thing.I switched from a 55 to 125.Its nice to have the extra depth for more stuff.
What are the dimensions of your tank?
Thought mine was a 120 but after doing the math,I believe its a 125.
 
Chuck, looking good. I would have thought there be more frags in there since you always come away with alot from the auctions. Interested in a rbta (use a power head to blow on it and it will release, a turkey baster works also.
 
Fio, nope you must have the wrong guy, If I ever even suggest that I drill through the floor , My wife would first neuter me like a dog then divorce me !!:lol:
I run a simple homemade sump (29 gal) under the tank.
rtecanoe my tank is 48 x 24 x24
oceanic tanks are 48x24X25 that is probably what your thinking of.
Eric... you are so right !:D but I couldn't get them to live under the 150 w now that I upgraded to 250 everything is thriving and sprouting new tips.
even the monti cap I got at the last meeting is coloring up and looking good (and this was my 4th try at that!):D

PS : eric love the picture of you on the LIRA site.. You should try out for the "NEXT SUPER HERO" tv show :lol:

it's a green cap, the red one didn't make it :(
I will frag you a piece of the green when it gets a little larger if you want it.
