my new 120 rr

Hey Nova, Looking good thus far! I can't wait to see this bad boy filled up! Did you buy the PVC black or did you just paint it? Keep up the good work

What I like about the way you did the stand is that the grain from the wood drifts across the front and through the door, in one pattern, non-broken. I think that is very eye-appealing, and I never thought about making that type of door. It seems very befitting, and useful, because one thing I find tiresome is having a hinged door always in the way. Even if you can open them all the way, they are sticking out somewhere else. It's a really great idea. I have never seen a stand like that. Very innovative. How long until you fill the tank up with water and get started transferring?

Looking good. The plumbing and everything looks really clean and no clutter!!

Why the egg crate under the rock? You will get alot of detritus built up under there.

the egg crate is for my piece of mind just in case a rock falls.my plan is to put sand in but i havent done that yet

Sounds good, just enough to fill in the spaces between the rocks. After having a DSB for seven years I am kinda scarred to find out what is underneath it, when I take the tank down.

I recently reduced the sand bed in a take that I maintenance for a business and I cannot beleive the reduction in alage that I have had.
