I've got the stand done but here is the mock up I did of what it will be like when it is finished... just have to add some molding/trim detail on the edges.

Nice thing is the stand has a removable brace in the back so it will be easy to put a bigger sump in when I set it up.

Very nice!! What is the height on that tank? I'm looking for something similar in size for an in wall project I'm planning for the winter.

LoL, Ooh Yaa U-betchya. Well I'm 5'9" and I shoould be able to loook right across the top of the hoood. It is a short stand made to view the tank when your sitting. It's glass (no scratches) and big enought to flooat a booat in ;-)
