My new 180g

That sucks man :(

Hope you get that situation resoved quick. :)
Post pics of the stand after it gets powder coated. :)

Thanks guys. Yeah, hopefully it doesn't take long to get it back.

Gary, I hope that doesn't happen to yours either!

I didn't go with the normal white or black on the stand. As I was looking at the colors on the wall, I decided to go with fire engine red!

Mike, did it come with Euro bracing as hoped?

Sucks having to wait again huh?

I water tested my tank today. no leaks woohoo!!!! I did have sn issue though. I will post in my thread later.

It didn't have the euro bracing on the ends like I was expecting, but it only had two small glass braces and they didn't look like they would be in the way at all, so it's cool.

I won't be ready to make the transfer until the last weekend of April, so there isn't a huge rush, but yeah, it would be nice to have it here and ready.

Sorry alien! I didn't mean anything by it. :)

I know dude! :)

Im just messing around

I am however just as surprised as you are that nobody else comented on that color. Even if it will only be viable from the inside, its not everyday you see a stand painted that color.

It will make working on the tank fun ;)

I think they're just waiting for pictures. I'm not taking the truck to Tucson tomorrow, so I'll have to pick up the stand from the powdercoater on Thursday.

I was planning to build the wood skins today, but first I had to change the fuel pump on my truck. By the time I got back from Home Depot I only had time to cut the plywood for on top the stand and get it painted.

I'll work on the rest of the skins and fuge stand during evenings this week, with lots of pics!

Sounds awsome...and your right, there probably just waitng for pics ;)

Why did you need a new fueltank-- if you dont mind me asking :)

ok, ok, the red sounds super cool. What does Angela think of the color?

Mike, what are you going to do about the canopy? It would be very cool if you repeated the metal frame and painted it the same color. Would it be too heavy though?

Scott, there won't be any metal for the canopy. I'm probably going to copy Ed's. I like the way the whole front opens.
