My new 380

It's going in the blank room to the right of bedroom 3. The room is 11'x13' which is pletty of room even with the growout tank in the room. Here's the layout of the room.

Pardon my ignorance but who is MA in Canada? And what kind of material was used in the perimeter bracing? Thanks.

MA is Miracles Aquariums. Unless specifically called out, they use left over Starphire if they have enough for the eurobracing.

Ours will be here Tuesday...

Well, hopefully it will be here this morning. Had some problems with a shipper from LA to me but it's not Miracle's fault. I can't wait to start this thing!

Wowzer nice blueprint drawing.. now I know exactly where to go for the goods! Mwuahahahaha.

Btw, I think you missed a door someplace, it looks as if the only way to get to the master suite is from the patio? Although I'm guessing that wall behind the media niche is actually an opening :)

Ahhhh NICE  Yall had a lift gate...lucky haha. I did not and we had to take it out the crate while still in the truck. Then we slid it off the truck up about chest level into our hands so there was little time to snap pics.

So whats next?????

Nice! The only thing that worries me is the last picture....going into storage so soon.... What a shame- when do you think it will be in it's new home? Keep the pics coming and good luck!

BigRed,

Glad to see you got your tank! The shipping container looks just like ours, but of course yours is bigger...

How many guys did it take to lift the pallet? I'm trying to figure out how we are going to roll our tank 90Ã"šÃ‚° to get it through the door and then lift it to a height of 44 inches to put it on the stand.

What is your time line looking like?

-Doug

Doug I had to flip my tank on its side to get it in as well. We did it in the grass...put the tank down and rolled it onto its front. Then we lifted and carried it like that. With 7 of us it wasn't hard. I also built some dollies to put the tank on once it was in the house. It had to stay on its side to get into the tank room and the dollies made that a easy job.
