You have amaizing tank . I read in the news that in Haifa they have one of the best coral farm and they also export all over the world.

Happy to see that .

Wow, one of the nicest I have seen. Can you give us an equipment and parameter run down?

Thanks Muttley.

Thanks mavgi.
In Haifa there is a nice coral farm and I know they even grow corals for medical use as a bone fusion base (I know the owner).

Here is an old article about it: http://www.israel21c.org/social-action/israelis-raise-coral-out-of-the-blue

There are few more farms exporting corals and/or tropical fish in Israel.

Latest update

Thats some nice progress in 9 months....

TOTM,nice work, are corals easier to purchase since red sea is so close to you guys and are things cheaper too? Tell us more on the filtration and all, thanks for sharing pics, its impressive.

ptr13 thanks.

Picking corals from the Red Rea is forbidden here so none of my corals are from around, same for the fish. Most of them imported from Indonesia and East Asia.
The prices here are cheaper than the USA.

You have an awesome tank, thanks for sharing it with us. I do have a question for you. What is the secret to having so many corals that are touching each other. Whenever my corals grow to the point they start touching one of them starts to die where they touch. I run high amounts of carbon but it doesn't help. Thanks

Most of the SPS corals I have don't harm each other in the long run. When they first touch each other, they "burn" a spot that heals after a while. Than the corals grow around and become "welded" to each other.
Some SPS corals can't tolerate this touch and bleach a branch. I think I know by now which corals are more sensitive and avoid this collision.

High water movement can avoid mucous accumulation and coral bleaching at the collision point.

Simply ............ umm........... , no i cant find the right words to describe it.
Moshiko I always heard you have a great tank, but in my wildest dreams I didn't expect this masterpiece , seems I wont be able to postpone my first visit to you anymore.

I agree with JPsika08 it is a living work of art. You did a fantastic job and I'm sure pictures do not do this tank justice.
