looks like it already has?
Looked at it again last night and it still seems just to be one animal. From whst I can see, it appears to have only one mouth??????

strange. looks like split in the picture. my large GBTA gets a little twisted (NO, NOT LIKE ME!!) and sometimes looks like it has split, so maybe that's the case with yours.

If I weren't so lazy, I would take the light down so that I could try and take a good top down photo, instead I will wait till it decides to move or indeed does split. I could use another one in my 210 if it happens.

That's all a matter of opinion Chuck. Most people could never handle that many tanks so in my book, you are far from lazy!

I lost my Orange Shoulder Tang a few weeks ago, and decided to order one that was on sale. It is supposed to be medium sized, but it is dwarfed by my other tangs. It is so small, I don't think that they have seen it. My Anthias are larger than this MEDIUM sized Orange Shoulder Tang..........Oh well, it was cheap....

I have been having a major problem in one of my specimen tanks with hair algea. Several people suggest that Mexican Turbos would mow it down.

Got a great deal on 100 Mexican Turbos to try and take care of the problem. I'll probably put 50 in this tank and the remainder in the 600 gallon tank.

That's funny :), I was watching on of your webcams on the specimen tank and I've just seen you clean the glass! And I've also seen you last week with your 600g tank!

Tuesdays are my day for the tanks. Testing, water changes, filter changes, and what ever else needs to be done, generally takes most of the day. Never ending battle......

Goodwin9, do you have any other pics of the orangeshoulder. It looks like it has a single black stripe behind the eye. Looks like an A. Nigricaudus to me. I've seen a few of them for sale around here lately. For some reason they're starting to be imported. Perhaps they sent you the wrong fish. I have one myself, very beautiful in adulthood. You may have lucked out anyway.

great updates Chuck. sorry to hear about the loss. the orange shoulder will grow very fast, purchase mine 1.5" 5 months ago and now over 6". i remember putting 120 of those guys in the beginning, but it was more work to clean after them rather then doing it myself. not only that they were like rhino knocking and running over everything in its path. nassarius and cerith are great cleaner and don't make too much of a mess. they buried in the sand during the day and at night complete lights out will rise from the sand and clean the sand bed up very good.
