What an unreal game. All the Jayhawks around me and even my family back home had already given their consolation comments or texts, "Oh well, at least we beat Roy", "That's OK, I'm still happy", "At least now Self will stay" - but I never gave up - it's destiny, baby!
It was ALMOST as fun seeing Roy trying to make up to the faithful - all is forgiven ... or forgotten at least ... with the last two wins! I couldn't hear his interview at half-time with all the drunk Jayhawks around me, I gotta find it on Youtube!
Unreal end to an unreal season. Considering what happened right after 88 and 03, I'll be holding my breath until Self is locked down. They'll change the name to Allen/Self Field House.

WOW...what a game. I had just about given up hope, until Memphis had their free throw troubles. Speaking of which, I don't think that I have ever watched KU shoot 93% from the free throw line. I've seen them loose too many close ones due to poor free throw shooting in the past.
Hats off to the Jayhawks for hanging in there and not giving up.
Roy probably made some ammends with many of the KU faithful, I hope that he didn't offend the Tar Heels watching the game.
I had forgotten about the Texas game, thank you for the link.
Hopefully they can find some money in the coffers to keep Bill at KU. Sounds like OSU is ready to open the faucet to try and get him.
