My new 93g cube!!!!

You've done a spectacular job with the tank. I love the aquascaping and coral placement. It's going to look even more fabulous as those frags grow out!

Nice tank! What are the dims? I have a 60cube (24x24x24) and love it. But this looks like it might be my next purchase :D

Thanks, its been a long hard road but fully worth it!!!! Its a 30x30x24. A LFS has a 36x36x30 that they are raffling off on oct 2. I am entered in for it, so lets see if I can win one more tank!!! My wife would FREAK!!! HAHAHA!!! Thanks for looking! Have any pics of your own tank?

Thanks sugar!!! I got really lucky with the rock placement on the first try, but will see how long that aquasqaping fever lasts with me!!! thanks again.

whats the dimensions of the sump and refugium? surprisingly those two big tanks can fit.

I could literally not fit another 1/16 inch of tank in the bottom of the stand!! I just got extremely lucky finding the refuge to go along with the sump. The refuge if you can see in the pictures is taller than the sump so that it can gravity drain into the sump... its dimensions are in inches 20.5x12x25 (LxDxH). Its roughly about 27 gallons, I think. The sump is 22.5x16.5x19, but it only has a little over 10 inches of water in it. So almost 18 gallons in it. Some day I have hope to either plum in a bigger sump or frag tank... just havent told the wife that yet:lol: Thanks for tagging along!!

I am ordering my 93 gallon cube this week! this gives me some great ideas for aquascaping. for fish i was thinking pair of clowns, flame angel, peral jawfish, Royal gramma, maybe a 6 line wrasse. That should cover most of the colors. lol.

Its an awesome tank, you will absolutely love it. But when you make the stand make sure it fits though the door!!! I only had about an 1/8 of an inch on either side going through the front door. Talk about puckering:eek2: Fish selection sounds fun, I just put three female anthias in not to long ago and I think they are my favorite!!! they are so beautiful, even my wife likes them and that saying something. Good luck let me know if I can help with any ideas or advice I would love to help!!!!

Great looking tank. I remember wanting to win that tank when Steve had it to raffle off. Now I know why I didn't win! I really like the scaping, do you forsee it being a problem with the rocks on the glass?

Sorry man, I LOADED that raffle jar up with tickets. I loved this tank so much I had to have it. And winning it was the only way I could justify getting it. Steve has a 36x36x30 150g he is going to raffle off on oct 2. Better get there and enter man, its a beautiful tank!!!!!

I thought about the rock work for a long time. I was worried about it touching the glass, because later on in life when we get a different house I would love for the tank to have 3 viewing sides instead of just 2. So that being said I tried my hardest to have no rock touching the glass on the left side. I think I did a pretty good job could be better I guess, but there are only 3 spots that rock is touching glass. I may try later to remedy that, but without using any appoxy or zip ties its kind of hard to stack them just right and still be 100% solid. Thanks for looking, good luck if you enter that raffle!!!!

I have seen that tank Steve has, its pretty sweet. I think it would be a great basement tank! Would make my office look pretty awesome. I think you should give Missouri the credit it deserves, you said MWReefs was in Kansas. That makes me sad. Keep the updates on the tank coming and maybe we can trade some frags some time.

Sorry!!!! I'll give missouri the credit!!! The state lines always blur around the kansas city area to me. I love Steve's shop and I think he is one of the nicest and knowledgeable people around. Have you met or seen Milo? His tank is stunning!!!!! And whenever stuff grows out I would love to trade some frags.

So I got a new RBTA a while back that is beautiful. Its green with white spots around the mouth and bright red/pink tentacles. I love it, however it oddly enough got ahold of one of my cleaner skunk shrimp (they were a nice pair) and ate it!!!!!! Dangit!! This is the second BTA that has done this in my tank, anyone else had this experience? Ill post update pics soon.

Decided I should do an update on the tank. Midwest Reefs a LFS had a customer appreciation day on Oct 2nd, and it was crazy awesome!!!! 5 dollar everything frags basically. I picked a few things needless to say...:celeb2: (If your following along) Did you get to make it Austin93? just curious if you got anything cool out of the deal. Also, did you ever get your tank ordered or delivered []V[]addog? Keep me in the loop, i'd like to know how things are going!!!!
I ended up getting 10 different SPS frags and 2 fish, a melanarus wrasse and a tail spot goby. This is my first go at SPS, but I figured at 5 bucks a pop I could not go wrong. Not sure on the names of things anymore just got them because they looked awesome. Ill post some pics below... And as always sorry for the poor photography!!!
