No, anemones are oppurtunistic feeders, if a fish touches its tentacles, especially and usually with the strong sting of the carpets, you can probably expect it to get eaten. Carpets, including Haddoni and Gigantea are notorious for being fish eaters, more credit goes to Haddoni Carpets because they have the stickier and more potent sting. Unfortunately if you browse the Anemone section you will encounter many tales of fish, common and expensive((a helfrichi firefish))((however you spell it)), becoming lunch.
So even though they are fed once a week ((I recommend doing more however, once every three days might be better? Thats how often I feed my nems.)) They can and will eat the fish unfortunately
very nice.... iv heard some nightmare stories about the carpets from mbuna like how his ate some expensive fish, a ton of mexican turbo snails, and locked fully around his hand one day... but really really nice looking good luck with it
