My new additions

I've been meaning on starting up a thread detailing my new system but for now here are a couple new additions.

I believe he's Ctenochaetus truncatus, we'll see once he shows his true colors :) He was at the store for a week and yellow the whole time. I'm expecting to wake up tomorrow and have him be brown with tiny spots ;) He's a little shy right now so a good pic was tough.

Rainford's goby: He had a pinched stomach when I got him so he's my first rescue attempt. He's not eating (don't ever expect him to) but he's fattening up from sifting sand. I'm worried he's going to starve once my diatom and algae bloom subcides :(

Funny thing is the Lawnmower Blenny was getting lazy with eating algae. Once he saw the tang chowing down the Blenny found some motivation

Is it me or does the first fish have lips like Angelina Jolie?:D

J/K! I like the fish! Hope the Rainford's goby makes it! Good luck!:)

Me too, I'm quite fond of him. He's almost always out and I love the way he hovers and swims. I know they're tricky. He was really sunken in at the store and had a pseudochromis messing with him. They gave me a discount since I think they knew my chances were better than theirs. I'm pretty encouraged by how healthy he looks after only a few days.

Just for making fun of my fish's lips... Go Bears! :p

So does anyone want to dispute my identification? Ctenochaetus can be a little tricky...

Photos froma week later. The Rainford's is getting even fatter and the Tang is starting to change.

Sorry he won't stay still
