My new blue LTA

So I was at a local reef club meeting when friend pointed out this LTA to me.
I'm about to setup a nem species tank, and when I saw this color I had to get it.
It was under way too bright of light, no flow, and was obviously stressed, and a little bleached.
I'm hoping to bring this back to good health, and hope it retains the bright blue color.
I've never seen a blue LTA, hoping this isn't dyed or anything.
Would like feedback from others, and hopefully someone else has had this color, maybe pics?

I'm guessing that when it gets its color back, it'll be a nice purple. Either way, though, it looks like a good one.

This looks like a great find! It is nice looking now, In a month or two under optimal conditions this could be a stunning specimen. Post some Pics down the road Please!

Will do.
I'm about to transfer my other 2 nems, and my picassos, maybe even today.
I have a pink nem, and a purple, and this blue looks nothing like the purple, so hoping it remains blue.
The purple and pink both came in stressed/slightly bleached as well as many do after shipping, but very healthy now.

Thanks, one place is aquasd here in san diego, other(blue) from Pet Kingdom also san diego.
Aquasd may ship stuff, not pos, or where they got them.
I have a purple LTA too, waiting for good pics.
I think I've seen a red LTA b4, and had a green, but may stick w/ these 3 for a while....maybeLOL

Well, disc is still pretty bleached, we'll see true color(can't wait) as zoanthelle builds back up, but my purple did similar, and bounced back even brighter purple, so fingers crossed.

LOL, that pic is the purple LTA, not blue, just posted for comparison as purple was a lil bleached as well on transfer too.
Hoping the blue does just as well.
Shipping is hard on nems, many seem like they are on the brink of death, I always worry, even though I haven't lost one so far(fingers crossed so I don't jinx myself there!LOL)

Doh! I just realized that from your other post. Well, it's still pretty. That post showing the purple and blue guy together makes me understand why you believe that the blue one is really blue and not purple.

I seem to remember a couple of posts about bleached blue LTAs from a long time ago, but don't remember what happened when they finally colored up.

Oh, well, I look forward to seeing his progress.

I have a feeling its more than likely dyed or just very bleached from purple I have never heard of a blue LTA before...hopefully someone else can prove me wrong though...

I hope this guy comes back for you!

I think you guys are confusing the purple I threw in for comparison w/ the blue.
The purple also bleached a bit, but bounced to that color you see now.
The blue is very different in color.
It is still stressed a little, hides from light compared to the other 2, but hoping that changes as it builds zooanthele.
Been eating mysis.
It's more like a teal blue right now, pretty sure it's not going to turn purple.

Well, started this post hoping to see pics of other blues.
Didn't expect to have nem tank up so quick after, so ol blue gets an encore performance.
