My new Blueline has arrived...

Im hoping NYAquatic stands by their fish. Im waiting on a reply from them now. Theyve been helpful throughout this so I expect nothing less.

I hope they do. However their web site says that replacements made under warranty are not guaranteed.

Yes it does but there are some issues in this case such as the initial fish being injured upon arrival and dying soon after and the second fish was supposed to be 4" (since I initially ordered a 3" and only wanted a small fish) and it came in at 5.25"

I am in communication with NYaquatic at the moment.

Michael is a good guy. I would think you will be able to work something out with him. I too ordered one of his small (4") Bluelines when he had them a few months ago. Beautiful fish in a great size, but he would not eat and succumbed to what I think may have been flukes as well. When I got the replacement fish, he was a monster! MUCH bigger than the one that I lost. But my larger one has been here two weeks now and it seems each day he grows bolder with what foods he will try. But they are certainly picky at first. And less assertive than many other angels. Bad combination. What a truly beautiful fish though. Better luck with your next one!

Wow this sux!! I always do a freshwater dip before adding any angels to my QT. That way if they have flukes, which almost all do. You can tell how bad the infestation is and remove most from the fish at the same time. Mine had a few but nothing as bad as to cause such a quick death. I did treat with Prazi as I always do with new fish. Hope it works out for you.
