didnt look like your personifer was real happy about the blue line taking up the branch rock cave, seems the personifer wanted to get back in it but the blue line kept chasing him away
 
There is no aggression and they have sorted out territory already... Remember this is only a QT. I took the video a little bit after putting in the BL so he was a bit on edge. More relaxed now.
 
Congrats! The BL compared to your personifer she looks to be close to 5". I'm surprised the personifer didn't hold her ground.

Glad to hear they're more calm now. Add a few pieces of rock on the left side then both will have their own space. How much longer before the personifer goes into the DT?
 
Looks good. Sorry the first one didn't make it. I love my blueline I got it from NY also. Is yours eating yet?? Mine only wanted to eat Hikari Spirulina Brine the first couple of days. It nows eat just about everything except pellets. I love how it's always out & about cruising the tank unlike some of my other angels that like to stay in their cave.
 
Nope not eating yet... I tried pe mysis w/ selcon, live bloodworms, and spirulina flakes. Im open to ideas.... he is real fat though so plenty of reserves.lol

Perhaps: PE or hikari mysis, live blackworms (not bloodworms)? Live brine, while not very nutritious, is often irresistible.

I tried all of those same foods with same result you had until I fed the Hikari Spirulina Brine. It ate them with gusto. Eventually it started to eat the smaller mysis when I mixed it in with the brine. It now eats everything except for the pellets. It will taste them then spit them out. Good Luck and keep us updated.

The smaller the quicker they'll eat prepared food. One time I'd a 7"+ specimen that took 7 weeks to eat but by that time it was too late.

I recommend feeding variety of smallest food such as brine soaked in garlic and vitamin and try small live calm (try Asian supermarket for the small ones). Once BL start eating I don't think there's anything I fed they didn't eat. I got my 3 5/8" BL and a few finicky angles (colin's & venustus) eating Bluezooaquatics Flakes & Pellet Mix from the start.
 
still no luck... went and got some live brine and nada. The Personifer was quite happy but the BL wasnt interested. I also bought some spirulina enriched frozen brine/mysis so i'll try that tomorrow. I know its only been a bit over 48 hours since I got him but im running out of ideas.
 
OT but thought id throw it in... Just ordered a 57 watt AquaUV from Premium Aquatics for the new angelfish setup. Debated it for a while (currently have a smaller UV on my 72 bowfront) but after reading some articles including some of what copps wrote about his system I felt it could only be beneficial.

After reading copps thread (awesome setup)
I bought a aqua 114 watt uv for my 300 fowlr got mine from champion. BTW awesome blueline
