My new Chironephthya

See if I can keep it alive now. I placed it where I am having success with a Dendronephthya so it is strong flow and right out of the return the food comes from.

i had a orange one wither away on me. i dont think they have enough polyps to feed with for our tanks. not sure we can offer what they need and get in the wild. Just my experience with them.
Good luck with yours though.

No it is. It looks like the middle was a little broke up. I broke a couple of pieces off myself mounting it. It is a chironephthya.

I think that's a lot of polyps. The trick IMO is to get them to extend the polyps. I personally think mine died from not having enough flow.

Your's is the opposite colors of mine. Cyclopeeze and live rotifers got mine going.
