my new clam

Bought this clam today...I think it's a crocea. Please correct me if I'm wrong...

Was it labelled as a crocea? My gut feeling tells me it is a maxima, but I just not sure... sorry to not be of more help!

PS - it is a nice looking clam though, which one of our LFS did it come from?

It was not label. The store is called Jojo Aquarium.

Ditto Maxima. Check the FAQ posts on how to ID clams more reliably by using shell and byssal opening, not just mantle shape and markings.
