My new clams

I just baught 3 new clams. Cant wait till they get here
1 9inch blue (Tridacna Gigas)
1 5inch (Tridacna Derasa)
1 3 1/2inch gold Tear Drop Maxima Clam.


Just wanted to share if any one wants to input where I should put them in the tank and how to take care of them feel free. It will be very valuable knolage.

I will post pictures when they come in

The giga's and derasa combined are almost too big for your tank now. They will be too big soon, they grow fast.

put them on the sand and the maxima up on the rocks.

:beer: I am not the man just a clam enthusiast who has been there done that.

I purchased a 1.5" derasa that grew 4" in about 8 months. About 4 months into the purchase I figured out it was actually a gigas.

wow that is a nice fine skinz I had a stupid person at a fish store seend me 5 skunk shimp as camel shrip still think you got a better deal. hey johnny you should give the guy at coral reef farm a call he gets alot of nice ones and they are not to expensive. I think mine was $169 not bad.
