yea thanks for the help everyone! I talk to bonesreef almost everyday. The small clown is doing a lot better and is swimming around more. They eat the flake food as soon as I put it in there now.

i would seperate the small one, he might get singled out. i don't think trios are formed often. maybe pair him up with a rods (the ultimate clown bonesreef/rods). just my 2 cents. by the way, beautiful fish!

ok i will get another net breeder. will they be ok until saturday? there only 3 months old. but one of them is 4 months old. i want the two smaller ones to pair up because they have the most white on them. the larger one will go into a diff. net breeder.

ihave 3 picasso's in a 40 breeder and they always pick on the smaller awsome looking one, dont know why but it happens with my trio, i have to seperate them constantly, but i do feed alot and i think thats what helps keep them strong, they are always fat like pigs, and healthy as well, try and seperate them when needed, and dont let the little one get picked on to much or you'll end up losing him/her!! goodluck and bad a$$ clowns dode!!!!

although these clowns are beautiful, the person you got them from is an absolute liar. he has lied about the parents of these clowns. no one knows where he gets them but they are not from his parental stock that he claims. he was asked to show proof of the lineage on an international breeders forum and to this day has lied about there lineage and still has not provided any proof of what he states.
he claims they are from perc lineage but as ANY breeder knows, there this is very very unlikey based on the age of dev. that he claims. again , many reputeable breeders have asked him to defend his claim and he can not do so. so although they are beautiful babies, RODS clowns are the best bec he is honest and you know what your getting.

he is attempting to fool novice clown collectors. i yet to find one serious collector that supports this person. so if you buy from this person, you are supporting someone that is not being honest with you about there lineage. RODs clowns are by far the most reliable clowns.

these babies are very very likely from an ora lineage. same body. and very very likely osc and NOT percs as this person claims.

ask him to show you ONE pic of the clowns spawning, larvae dev. or baby dev. NOTHING. RODs clowns are proven and your supporting a person that you can trust and not lying to you.

believe me as a collector first, i fell for this guys lie initially also.

oh yes and he showed me a video of his clowns swimming around a tile, NO EGGs NO SPAWN, just them swimming around a tile. also showed me pics of supposedly his setup with NO CLOWNS in it or NO babies in any tanks. yeah so im purturbed bec i do not like being lied to.

i disagree with you because first of all you are saying they are ocellaris and not percs. that would meen that they were snowflakes. i am positive that they are not ocellaris. second i trust bones 100%. can you show proof of what you say? maybe you like RODS better and you are entitled to your opinion but i like BONES.

Here we go...

Regardless of the source, I think your clowns are very nice. Please be sure to post pics when they start getting blacker, I'm sure they'll be spectacular :)

I will have to agree with Embryo on this. Rod is by far the best person I have met in this hobby.

Just to throw in my .02 I contacted bones once about going up there to pick my clowns. I never got a response from him.

I am not a clown breeder, more like a clown collector. Brings up a good question of... Has anybody on here seen his setup in person?

There are few issues here, one of which, the vendor discussed is unable to respond or provide clarification.

I don't see this one going anywhere in support of Reef Central's mission statement.
