My new clowns

We have a blue Haddoni and it took a pair of black saddlebacks about 2 minutes to dive into the carpet after being added to the tank.Other than feeding snails to the carpet they have been a great addition.

Congrats Todd, they look great! I have yet to find a polymnus that can resist a haddoni! I had a pair that were hosted by a Crispa a few years back, they are fun clowns for sure and I'm sure your anemone will be much happier now.

On another note I am surprised you sold the Clarkii pair, I remember you saying you wanted to but were too attached because of how long they have been with you.

Thanks a lot. Yea, I had a feeling that they would be hosted fairly quickly, but didn't think it would be that fast.

Yea, I really wanted to hang on to the Clarkiis, but they were getting too mean, and digging way too much. All the digging was right around the Haddoni and was causing it to move all the time.

Very nice pair you got there, makes me regret selling mine. Maybe I'll have to pick up a pair the next time i see one.

Many years ago I had a pair of brown ones, these are so much better.

WOW!Quite a dif in size from the male to the female!If ya look the male dont got his 3rd stripe yet!VERY nice pair!

I was shocked at the size difference, hope it stays that way.

NICE! Are they violent?

Fairly mellow (( as far as clowns go )) towards other tankmates, but the female is violent towards me.

How long have you had the carpet? Love it, the variation in its colors is amazing. What is the species and genius?

That Haddoni I have had for about 8 months now, bought it off a local reefer. My oldest Haddoni is about 11 years old -- I have a total of 5.

Nice clowns. Never heard of them diving into the mouth. Please post pics. I'd freak out if saw this happen.

I have a blue Haddoni too, and think that the these clowns would look great in it, but not sure I want to take it away from my Pink Skunk pair (( besides trying to get it out of that tank too. ))
