My new clowns!!!

Thanks, I look forward to seeing them other than top down, lol!!!

Blue zoo medicates with copper and also does a methylene blue dip while they're in their systems.

I'm hoping they'll last a while... Maybe I'll consider breeding if things go really well. My melanopus clown pairs (now only have one in sump) spawned every couple of weeks. My pink skunks spawned pretty much monthly, so we'll see after these gusy get situated...

I just never put the effort into raising the fry. That larval stage scares me...

I decided to forego the QT and put them directly in the display with the anemones. The larger of the two took to the anemones immediately, the larger stayed higher in the water column.

Everything seems okay so far- the smaller one dives into the 'nems and then gets chased by the larger. There's also some of the shimmying that I have seen with melanopus and the pink skunks pairing, as well. The larger one is definitely asserting dominance. I'm hoping things will settle in after a couple days...

I left the lights out for about five hours and then put the actinics on. After an hour of that I turned on the MH on the other side of the tank and let things go like that. Both of them ate mysis and brine, as well as a little flake a few minutes ago.

So far, they don't seem as skiddish as I was expecting. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.

Thanks! I'll try and get some up tomorrow. The lights are out now. The larger one is nestled in in the anemones and it chased out the slightly smaller one. It's nestling in the upper corner of the tank, almost like it's in a pretend anemone...

I fed them again shortly before lights out and they both ate heartily. I hope they'll do okay!

AM update- the smaller one spent the night in the upper left corner of the tank. As soon as the lights started coming on, he swam down towrds the anemones, and had a little scuffle with the other.

Both ate well again.

I am charging the cameral battery as we speak, lol!!!

I decided that just in case they decide to be jumpers, I put the egg crate over the tank last night. I haven't seen that behavior, yet, but I definitely don't want these guys to go carpet surfing...

Here we go...

Here we go...

Give me a minute to upload... It's been a while. The spots are coralline on the glass. I haven't scraped in a couple of weeks and didn't want to stress them out for a while...

Day 3 update!

Everything going well. The larger one is definitely asserting dominance. I'm happy tonight because it looks like the smaller one is going to settle down in the lower right corner tonight- I didn't like it flirting with the overflows at the top, but everything seemed fine the first 2 nights...

I think I heard some of the chattering that people talk about, almost like a clicking dog bark? I watched them posture with eiach other. A good sign, I guess?

Maybe I'll try and clean the glass in the next couple of days and get some new pix!!! I was too busy with the CORA swap this afternoon...
