What do you guys think? About 1.5"..

Seems happy. Think he's fine on the sandbed?

These need to be target fed phyto, correct? I've been target feeding through a cut-off water bottle. Just can't tell if he's taking it in or not.

Dont try to target feed. You may block its gills and stress it out. Just make sure that cal, alk, and mag are in check. You should move it up as high as possible. Your pc's may not be strong enough for it. Good luck.

I should clarify - this is in the 10g, about 6-7" from the T5's. It seems happy with the light, but if it starts reacting poorly, I'll move it up more.

I won't try to target. Just dose the phyto into a high flow area and let it be?

It won't be happy just on the sand bed...to make it truly happy place it on a cup shaped piece of rock. Since I started doing that I haven't lost a single clam...they get their foot into the rock and are very healthy and moving them is easier...you just move the rock so you don't risk damaging the foot.
