My New D40

Hi everybody, I just entered the world of SLRs. I bought a Nikon D40 with an 18-55 mm and a 55-200 mm lens. I've been toying around and thought I'd show off some of my first pics on here. Any criticism and advice for improvement will be much appreciated. I've been using the Program mode quite a bit, and I've toyed with the aperture priority and shutter priority modes. I haven't messed much with any other settings to this point, but here's what I've done so far.

Good so far. Lots to learn that's for sure. I'm getting decent with it outside with good light, but as far as the aquarium shots go, I need a bit of work (and a tripod).

Which lens were you using?

All of the flowers were with the 55-200. The tank shots were with the 18-55.

Nope. I'm definitely going to need a tripod to get some good macro shots with it.
