I have not been kept syngnathiformes for several year.
Recently, I acquired a beauty and tried to keep syngnathidae again.
I hope that I can keep it alive as long as possible.

This fish came from western australia.
It is occasionally available.
This fish is female one and the supplier promise to catch a male for me in future.
It costs some money and is more expensive than seahorse.
She only accepts live amphipods and ignores live brine shrimp at this moment!
If you search in RC, you will find more informations about this fish.
She is captive breed successfully by one of the seahorse keeper in Australia. You also can find information on reef central as well!

Oh nice! I am insanely jealous. They aren't even an option in the US unless you're a public institution. Please keep us posted as to how she does. And if you get a male and they start making sexy time. ;)
