Here he is!! Cooper! He was born 4.10.07 weighing in at 6Lbs 14oz. We almost didn't make it to the hospital. We walkws into the emergency room at 9pm and, he was born at 9:27pm. No choice but for the wife to have an all natural birth with no pain killers. Ouch! I heard some very "choice", non PG rated language from that. He and the wife are doing great. :)

Pretty baby!!!

Congrats.

My wife chose to give birth 'naturally'......that's insane! (About 6 months later I got an epidural for my back prior to surgery.)
I'll never understand why women choose to do this. Whoever heard of someone having a surgery without any anesthesia? It makes about as much sense.

AAwwww, how sweet! Very pretty baby for sure! Glad you made it and didn't have to deliver your own son on the side of the road. Talk about cutting it close! I can only imagin the choice words and pain of not having pain controll

That is one thing my wife learned well "epies are your friend":)

Congrats. I never was lucky enough for a 30 min delivery we scheduled Andrea and still took a couple of hours

Cool, Chris!

That is almost exactly what happened to my wife with our first baby. The tech who was taking us up to OB was banging on the elevator close button. They didn't even have time to start an IV and the baby was there. After that, the OB said to just come in whenever instead of the usual "contractions for an hour" kind of thing.

Congrats!

Congratulations Twice!!!!!

Once for your new addition to your Reef ( family) and the second for making it in time. 27 minutes is awfully close. How do you think the rest of your inhabitants will take the new food though????

Congrats!! But I must warn you, I have two of those; they are not reef safe, they are jumpers and they are huge waste producers. You'll Probably need a bigger protien skimmer.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! The drive from Spring Hill to Williamson County Hospital was quite nerve racking. I have so much respect for women after seeing her handle that pain. Saturday our 2 year old son comes home from his stay with the grandparents. I guess the real fun is about to begin. As I sit here and type this I look at the 200+ gallons of water in my living room separated from my carpet by thin sheets of glass. 2 growing boys and I am thinking hard about acrylic. Thanks all.

Oh Howard.. the wife loved that picture and wanted to know if you had a link to where it came from?

Congrats, Chris. I've heard more and more about natural childbirth (my best friend from college's wife had thier baby without so much as an aspirin-said she'd never do it again-they now have 2;)).
