If that's a haddoni they're going to move down to your sand and anchor on something (ie, glass) so you will want to move it before it moves itself :-)

This is when researching an animal before you buy it is extremely helpful. A rbta is child's play compared to a haddoni. They need extremely powerful lights and like to be in the sand.

While I agree, Haddoni's are more tolerant of lighting than their cousins Gigantea... but yes, researching an animal especially one that can get as large as a haddoni is advisable.

I hope he doesn't have any fish that he is particularly attached to... they might very well become lunch for a hungry carpet soon :-)

I have the lighting and the sand bed
So that I'm not worried about at all
I'm just saying their care level as far as hardiness I guess
I've had reef tanks for years so I'm not worried about water quality and all that stuff
Just curious how they hold up

they hold up well as long as they come in healthy, and get BIG.

Avoid feeding silver sides to any anemone really, there have been way too many horror stories... Use scallops, krill, salmon, etc.

They've killed several 'nems that i've read, just do some googling. You can do what you wish, just my .02 cents :-) I have a whole package of silversides in my freezer if you want them.

Oh no it's great info I appreciate it
Mine in the trash
It's not worth the chance of killing it
