I waited a long time for my LFS to get a haddoni in with this color and good health. Here are some pics injoy

It looks bleached to me, but otherwise healthy. I would expect with proper light it will get a rich brown color. Good luck.

it does look a little bleached. maybe too much light?

Flash from the camera is making him look more bleached then he is. Yes he is a litte bleached. I do have some old glass tops i put on to block some of the light. I run T5s 6 bulbs 54W over a 75g.

The glass tops won't block all that much light. I would put 3 layers of window screening b/t the lights and the tank (( can use egg create to support the screening )), and then remove a layer every 5-7 days.

What colour is that? It looks a lot like the haddoni I bought many years back (see my profile pic). It was a beauty but it was bleached and didn't last more than 2 years, although part of that might have been due to dropping a boulder of live rock on it ... twice :(

I will do that thanks Tod

Update. He has moved 3in to the right and that puts him in a cave that i made out of the LR. He is about 75% out of the light now. His color is getting better and he will take silversides. Im thinking he had to much flow on him and thast why he moved. I will move some LR around to make a better place for him somtime this weekend. But should i just let him be for now? or move him back in to the light alitte?

I'm thinking he's trying to get onto the sand bed to burrow. He needs deep sand or he may never settle. You can't keep him on the rocks.

Very cool, neat porcelain crab you got paired with him. Im starting to catch the haddoni bug and am thinking of adding a smaller green one in a few months, dependent upon how my blue one does. He does appear a tad bleached but it should recover if given proper conditions as everyone has said. Best of luck.

that carpet looks awesome...are you going to be adding clowns..or just the crab? maybe add a trio of sexy shrimp or something
