On a 36" tank I'm running 2 True Lumens (12k and 453nm) and 1 Reefbrite that has 18 3-watt bulbs. The reefbrite creates more daytime shimmer effect than the true lumens. But heat is so little I can use a canopy again, and just mounted a little quiet computer fan on the back to vent some of the air out and my chiller doesn't hardly have to run anymore.
My corals are doing great. They've even developed some new color and look like they're in HD. Late in the lighting cycle, when only the blues are on the tank looks great.
