These are by far my favorite fish. About a year and some months ago i sold my three footer and drained the pond.
I had no idea that they would become so rare and so expensive in the past year! I finally found some and just wanted to show some pics of these 2 beauties.

Here ya go...

Welcome back. These are stunning. Expensive to feed when they get big. I know of one taking a shark too. Post pics when they make the pool.

hey there alprazo!
My three footer took a smoothhound pup.
Whatever I end up keeping will make it to my shark pond when the size of the fish requires it.
I dont think i will live long enough to ever see these fish become eight feet I would imagine it would take well over 50-60 years

before i explain it
and then
everyone asks for pics
ill say its about 12'x12'
and heres the pics
Not trying to be snippy, but this happens everytime i post about a big fish or one of my sharks.
and i know we all love pics, cuz i sure as hell love seein em too!

The build thread is on another forum thats all about really big freshwater fish. but they do have a marine section and a shark ray sub-section. the build thread is there. two threads actually, one failed. i have the same username on that website

Ive finally got all of them eating New Life Spectrum 10mm sinking mega fish pellets. I think my whitespotted bamboo shark is eating them too, in a seperate tank!!
I do soak them in garlic and a vitamin solution beforehand. They are gobbling these pellets up!!!

wow those are cool my lfs had about a two foot one awhile back it could eat a small dog. i think ive seen your build. good luck on future breeding:thumbsup:
