They are not hybrids. They are a variation of A. bicinctus developed by ORA. Probably the same genetic expression that resulted in Goldflake Maroons and Galaxy Clarkii.

Makes sense, thank you. I thought they were some kind of Clarkii cross, by looking at the pictures.

No thread as yet. I might start one on the Breeding forum but there seems to be relatively little traffic there.
After not being able to find any info specific to raising bicinctus fry, I definitely want to do a photo joural of the process. Now that I am having better success it might be time to document the larvae's development.

Nice work! I have a spotcinctus pair also. Spots really are active swimmers and great personality. Yours have great markings and the fry you have look amazing!
