Ok I still have some frags of SPS and Zoa's for sale.. I'll be taking down my 90g an prop tank hopefully this weekend and setting this up If I can get a stand/hanging canopy built for it=)
Measurements
24" wide
15" tall
14" front to back on the top
20" front to back on the bottom


This will be my temporary tank to conserve electricity/keep my in the hobby for the time being the electricity bill was $500/last month for the house..

So plans for the tank
-Single 250w Mh either a 10k or 14k running off an Electronic EV-Tech Ballast
-Protein skimmer- Euroreef I run on my 90g
-Water movement- 3xmj1200s' on wavemaker
-2x28w actinics
-either BB or 1" of sand
SPS/Clams and Zoas
Not sure what I'll run for the return yet because I might plumb a softy tank in and just make this one sps/clams.. if run two tanks i'll run my quietone 4000(1017gph) for the return

=) Yep my new clam tank.. Picked it up last night.. Along with a Beautiful Blue Valida Frag from James at Aquascene.. I'll be building the stand/plumbing it this weekend and hopefully taking my prop tank and 90g down..
Bought a small copperband also who's picking all over the place=)

Update. the stand is built the holes are drilled(the clam tank will hae two 1" bulkheads with strainers for overflows), I'm also plumbing in my 20g acrylic and I'm running a very shallow 1" sand bed, and I have all my zoanthids and Cheato in there... It's not ocnnected to the main system yet.. I will be taking down the 90g and setting up the clam tank in it's place and plumbing in the 20g this weekend after I install the new Headers for my truck and reprogram the computer..

Oh yeah. the 20g has a single 1" bulkhead with strainer for the overflow.. I will be running both tanks off my 1017gph quietone 4000... with the majority of flow going to the Barebottom Clam/Sps tank and then minimal flow thorought the Zoanthid tank... The Zoo tank will actually act as a refugium as well... currently.I have my 12g nano cube 2x24w Pcs hood sitting on top of it and will probably leave it like that.. I need to build some sort of hanging canopy though for the 250w 14k that will be over the clam/sps tank

Do they bother SPS?? I didn't end up getting the clam tank up this weekend my grandmothers been in the hospital so I didn't have time hopefully this weekend though..

I did setup the 20g and I have all my LPS, and tons of Zoanthids in there along with my True Perc and my serpant star.. I used a 1" sandbed in it and just have two small powerheads and a mj1200 in there for flow right now.. Hopefully the 90g will be coming down this weekend and I can plumb the clam tank and the 20g together with the 40g sump..

my clam tank is up.. Still not done plumbing it I worked on it till 1:30am.. I need to pick up some spa flex and some unions tonight to finish the plumbing and devise a way to mount the mh above it=)

DAMN i WAS UP TILL 2AM AGAIN LAST NIGHT AFTER WORK WORKING ON MY TANK.... Both the tanks are completely plumbed to the 40g sump now and I'll be adding SW to the sump tonight and turning everything on and adjusting the overflows..

I also need to devise some sort of light holder since the SPS have been without light for 2 days now.. I ended up having the clam tank and stand out from the wall about 12-18" like how Jesus did with his 240g so I can walk behind it and access every nook of it and the Zoanthid tank..

Doesn' look quite as nice as I'd look but it's got a ton of flow with the 1850gph Tunze in the 25g clam tank=)

haha... I've been there man. I've taken some days off work cause I was too tired after working on the tank all night.
