My new rbta

i just added a rbta to my tank as soon as i placed it on a rock my purple clown started hoisting it and it has not left it alone since, is that good for it or not, it just went in the tank and it still acclimating :uzi:

Purple clown? What size is the clown in relation to the anemone? Pics would be very helpful. What are your water parameters?

Parameters are good pH 8.1 dkh 12 phos 0ppm calc 380 nitrates 0 ppmammo 0 ppm just did a water change and the anemone is pretty big I saw it open at the LFS the clown is not big but not small either I'll try to take a pic

Thats a maroon clown…very aggressive little guy! IMO that nem may be a bit small for the clown. As long as the nem doesn't seem upset I wouldn't be overly concerned

Yeah that is a maroon clown with a very small rbta. You could be fine, but keep a close eye on it. If you start noticing negative changes you can buy a clear container and place over bta giving it a chance to grow. I started with a rbta that was the same size as my female ocellaris, one year later the nem is 5 times bigger than the clown.

That clown could easily kill that nem. Keep a very close eye on them
