yes this is my first attempt. it was 89 dollars.
so far its attached. i tried feeding it but i dont think iots ready yet.. maybe im anxious to see it do its thing. been afk been looking at it. today was a big day for my tank. picked up 2 modded MJs for 30 a pop..
the people at the LFS said to dose this please correct me if they are wrong

i purchased both of those and will be dosing them in a few days ( want everything to get settled before i start adding stuff.
i also picked up a jug of kalkwasser powder for 5 dollars. ( add 2 teaspoons to a gallon of fresh water and let it drop all day ) i know the rule. dont dose anything i cant test for. but my LFS tests for calc. and my last reading was 280 ppm so im going to dose a gallon of it and see what happens. how long should i let a gallon drip for? i have IV tubing lines ( ex paramedic ) im going to rig something up with a gallon jug of some sort...

GSMguy if you want me to keep my eyes open for another one in that price range i will. shoot me a PM.. ohios a long shipment but your call.
if i see a nice one i can put a down payment on it and than we can go from there etc etc ... the LFS said they had like 30 people come up and offer them twice as much as i did for it. but since i put cash down. first come first serve.. =)
